Hi all, I’m Suzan and I am an independent education consultant focusing on higher education and summer school advisory. I am a HUGE sports lover and a Galatasaray fan! I like running, cycling, doing Pilates, tracking and surfing! I enjoy watching basketball and tennis. I also like playing the piano, traveling and reading anytime I get the chance. I own two turtles named Osman and Cakil and a dog named Darcy! I work out six days a week doing cardio and strength training to prepare for races as well as to stay in shape and of course socialize! I am a marathon runner and a Stott Pilates instructor. I have run five full marathons in Istanbul, Barcelona, Paris, Athens and Milan. Currently, I am training for the LA Marathon 2019!
I graduated from Robert College in 2003 and completed my undergraduate degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics at Bucknell University, United States.Upon graduating from Bucknell in 2007, I moved back to Istanbul where I worked in investment banking, marketing and strategy & business development in energy and internet markets. In 2014, I completed my master’s degree in Marketing at Istanbul Bilgi University and went on to work as the Business Development Manager at Hurriyet E-Business.
In 2017, I joined Robert College Overseas College Counseling Team as a college counselor. I have been responsible for guiding students in their journey through high school as they prepared for college. Along with advising students' decisions on summer experiences, elective choices, and undergraduate degree decisions, I provided advisory in college applications to the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Asia and Australia.
In June 2018, I joined Itir Aydin Higher Consultancy as an independent education consultant. I provide undergraduate education and summer school consultancy to high school students in their applications to the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Asia and Australia.
Having more than 10 years of experience in corporate life gives me extensive insight in advising students as they take their steps towards building their future. My goal is to guide you in the best way possible for you to spend your college years in a place where you can grow both personally and academically.
